How does it work?
In a nutshell, you will need to opt for a self-managed super fund (SMSF). This gives you access to an exclusive collective real estate equity pool. This specialized equity pool offers a diverse assortment of properties located throughout Australia and is able to provide a 20% shared equity arrangement(deposit) for your chosen home. When the property is eventually divested or the contractual obligations are fulfilled, both the capital gain or loss will be apportioned between yourself and the fund. Additionally, an occupancy fee, equivalent to approximately 4-20% of the average rental yield, will be remitted.
